Always felt he got shafted with that stupid Tokyo Dome poll years back.
I wonder why New Japan did that? Do you reckon they got cold feet and did the poll so they could have an excuse for dropping him to the semi-main?
Yeah, I think so. I think there was also cold feet about pushing Okada above Tanahashi at that point, since Okada had a bit of a rep for being pushed too soon at that point and was also getting some backlash from the fans.
