Warrior working in the attitude era in the model of the Finn Balor/Demon

Would it have worked for Warrior to reinvent himself for the Attitude Era as a guy who did the full Ultimate Warrior facepaint, tassels, entrance, during special events and was presented more as a regular person most weeks on TV? Like he would be Dana's husband Warrior in jeans against Godfather on a random Raw, but utilize the full power of the Ultimate Warrior to combat Kane or the Rock.
​No, because:
a) I don't think the Finn Balor/Demon character thing particularly works as it is.
2) Warrior's whole thing was that he was 100% Ultimate Warrior, all the time, in and out of the ring. ​His real name was literally Warrior.
