Federations changing course

Once again with the questions :
What’s the best example of a federation very deliberately changing plans based on fan reaction?
Daniel Bryan at WM XXX? Honkytonkman becoming a heel? Something else?
Oh yeah, Bryan at Wrestlemania is the gold standard, because they literally were forced by fan reaction to move in a different direction. Once Bryan was removed from the equation, they went right back to the original plan again.
