Undertaker’s Streak at W.M.

When did the WWE actually become mindful of the Undertaker’s undefeated streak at Wrestle-Mania to the point that it became a ongoing storyline? I don’t remember them making a big deal out of it until W.M. 20 or 21, but I could be wrong.

​WM18 was the first time it was mentioned on screen as if it was a title to be defended, and it wasn’t really a "thing" until WM 20, correct. Before 18 it was just kind of a fun fact that people noticed.​
