If JR doesn’t sign with WWE for whatever reason, who would have been the play-by-play announcer? Vince? Monsoon seemed to be winding down at that point, though he did more big shows after this.

Also, playing it forward, if JR never signs with WWE, is it possible WWE doesn’t hit the heights in hit later in the 90s?

Vince and Bobby and Randy, the RAW team, seems like the obvious choice for WM if JR wasn’t there.
