Legacy Wing

In reflecting on the HoF this past Friday, what was the point of jamming 10 people into the Legacy Wing this year? I know they created this concept in an attempt to give their Hall more credibility, but good grief. Even though you have many legit Hall-of-Famers to choose from over the past 100 years doesn’t mean you have to open the floodgates and get them all in before we get to 2020.

I mean, it would be nice to have some real world-wide draws and pioneers to put in on the eve of WM 40, when we’re inducting The Dicks, Rockin’ Robin, Phantasio, and Just Joe with Meat headlining…

​You’re CRAZY if you think Sean Stasiak is headlining. That dude burned his bridges thoroughly on the way out.

As for the Legacy Wing, there’s HUNDREDS of people they can still induct into it. I mean, shit, we’ve still got all of the Japanese promotions, plus Mexico, plus northern Mexico (aka Canada) and the UK that could be represented with guys. The real concern is running out of WOMEN to induct after next year, since we’re already scraping the bottom of the barrel with Beth Phoenix as a "Hall of Famer". Who’s next, Kelly Kelly?
