Legends

Hi Scott,

A remember maybe a decade or so ago, there was talk of having a Hogan-Savage match at Wrestlemania. I recall the reason it was scrapped was that they didn’t want to overshadow the current guys. Was the reason that simple, or were there other factors?

This leads to my next question…why not just have a "Legends match" and call it as such for Wrestlemania or whatever show they want? Seems that would save a lot of headaches and weird booking such as giving Goldberg the title and having him defend it once before being shown the door.

​Because then you get into the weirdness of wrestling where guys don’t want to acknowledge their age and stupid shit like that. I’d be all for doing a fun "Legends reunion" type of show as as part of WM weekend, maybe even off-loading an hour of the main show for it.
