MSG Incident Video

Hi Scott,

How did the original MSG Incident get spread around? Through tape sellers? If so, why was it such a big deal? It wasn’t like YouTube was around so how many people could’ve seen it before then?

​It was shown on TV almost immediately after it happened. The whole idea that it was a FORBIDDEN INCIDENT is kind of overblown when Vince himself was putting it on his TV show and hyping it up on the WWF hotline. As for the footage itself, yes, it was mostly distributed by tape traders.​
