Ranallo/JBL Story

Do you happen to know the exact story regarding Mauro Ranallo and JBL? I’ve heard that it was something JBL said that sent Mauro into a depression, as he’s apparently been battling depression and bi-polar issues since he was a teenager), although I guess JBL was unaware of that?? Any ideas?

​Considering Mauro’s nickname even in Pride and other MMA companies was "The Bi-Polar Rock N Roller", I find it hard to believe that JBL wasn’t aware. Anyway, the specific incident that seemed to cause all the trouble was Mauro thanking people for giving him votes in the Observer awards for "Best Announcer", which then caused JBL to go off for being in the "Worst Announcer" category, and there was suddenly heat on Mauro for even mentioning the Observer and it went downhill from there. ​
