Somehow the inevitable post-Southpaw clickhole led me to this: a FCW show from 86-ish.

Muta was just… my god. How didn’t WCW make all the money off of…

… oh, right, WCW. Never mind.

​To be absolutely fair about this, Muta got brainwashed by Gary Hart and didn’t want to turn babyface at his peak despite WCW falling all over themselves to push him, and then he just wanted to go back to Japan and work there, so this is not necessarily a case of 100% being WCW’s fault for once.

Well, OK, mostly, but I just wanted the 10% Muta’s fault portion represented for the sake of fairness.
