Hey Scott,


Several talents have benefited since the brand split and many have seen there stock fall since. Who would benefit most from switching sides and having new partners to work with? Here are my top five picks.

Dolph Ziggler-
He’s very much damaged goods at this point, and has also worked with every midcarder on the Smackdown side. DZ could still have some great matches on the undercard of Raw although it’s going to be tough to develop his 100th losing streak storyline.

Randy Orton-
He has already worked with everyone on top (as face and heel) of the Smackdown side seemingly multiple times. Raw has several young talents it could use an established veteran to help get them over.

Apollo Cruz-
The guy that was brought up way to soon has been long since forgotten. 205 may be the perfect place for him to ironically develop a character.

New Day-
Smackdown desperately needs new tag teams. The new day has had nothing to do for weeks. I would suggest splitting them up but none of them have proven to get over on there own, except for maybe Xavier recently but even he needed Brad Maddox’s tag team help.

Austin Aries-
After losing to Neville at Mania he will have no place to go but down the card. At smackdown there are great matches to be had with Kalisto and Aj. He could even rekindle the great Baron Corbin feud we’ve all been dieing to see return.

​Hey now, Paige is having a rough time of it because of this sex tape thing, let’s cut her some slack.

I think we all know the real deal will be Roman Reigns to Smackdown in exchange for the entire midcard, ala HHH’s trade years ago. I’m pretty sure they do want to get Roman onto that show to replace Cena at the very least, because otherwise you’re left with World champion Randy Orton and Dean Ambrose as pretty much your only big babyfaces. I think AJ is also going to RAW, but beyond that it’s all shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic as far as getting people over goes. Doesn’t matter which show you get 50/50’d to death on.​
