The failed heel turn…
By Scott Keith on March 29, 2017
Scott,
Up for discussion – but this is why Cena can be considered an even bigger tool. We all know that he’s about to become a part-timer. We all know that he’s headed to Hollywood (and I promise to not bring up how ironic this is for ol’ Super Cena after all the shit he said about DJ). We all know that his act has been stale for over a decade.
…but if he really cared about the biz like he said that he does, why didn’t he himself see the necessity for a heel turn?
Smackdown is in real trouble. There are no real stars of any shape to be invested in at all. Hell, you can say that about the product overall. I know that this is fantasy booking, but just imagine the possibilities of a heel Cena over the past two years actually giving the rub to some young up and comers.
We keep talking about Roman but what really peeks my interest is Roman vs Heel Cena. Then again, the crowd would probably cheer for John and boo the shit out of Roman like they do now, so nevermind.
But still, isn’t it funny how John is leaving the biz in worse shape than when he started?
So you’re saying John Cena should turn heel?
