Yet another Flair question…

Other than timing (due to the NWA and WCW settling with Flair over the Big Gold Belt), was there anything that could’ve stopped the WWF from having Flair "defend" his "real World Champion" belt on WWF TV? Could the WWF have made it to Wrestlemania and made it a Hogan vs. Flair, title vs. title match? What would’ve happened to the lineage had the WWF had Hogan beat Flair for that title?

​What lineage? Flair was stripped of both the WCW and NWA versions of the title within a couple of weeks of leaving. The only controversy was Flair’s claims of owning the physical belt. Which was quickly settled because he didn’t.​
