Bret/Shawn Wrestlemania 13

Watching the Bret/Shawn documentary on the network I know the long term plan was for them to have the rematch… but would Bret have turned heel for that match or would Shawn have been the heel due to reaction he was getting as champion?

​Shawn would have been heel. Bret talked about how they were going to develop a prosthetic foot gimmick for Shawn so that Bret could get revenge on him and apparently break his foot with an anklelock. That being said, Shawn was just the kind of guy to turn himself babyface to fuck with Bret, so who knows.​
