Three Questions

1. How do the insiders get their information, ie Metzler, Alvarez, Keller, etc? Obviously they have an inside source but is it likely to be only one guy thats in creative meetings and let’s them know the dirt? Has it been the same inside guy for years dishing the info? If so, why hasn’t Vince cracked down on this and try to find out who the guy is?

​Dave has dozens of guys inside the company constantly sending him info, from jobbers up to Vince himself. It’s far more than one guy. During these 91-92 Observers we’re working through right now, for example, Vince specifically assigned JJ Dillon to be Dave’s contact in the company.

In general, for guys outside of the Meltzer/Keller big guns, Vince has tried to crack down in the past on stuff leaking out, for sure. I was in contact with guys like Seth Mates and Ed Koskey all the time around 2002-2005 and then Vince issued an edict that only company laptops could be used and suddenly you couldn’t even e-mail people inside the company any longer. Thankfully Seth has continued to be an awesome guy after the left the company and even hooked me up with the Sporting News gig a couple of years ago. ​

2. I’d say maybe like 12-13 years ago I remember reading about a disgruntled WWE superstar under contract calling himself "Willy the Worker". He ranted on the dirt sheets about the state of the company and how horrible it is being there…Or something to that extent. Was it ever revealed who this was? If not, what was the common theory as to who it was at that time? I seem to remember RVD being floated around as the guy rumored?
