WWF champs in 1992…

Since we’re getting to that point in the WON recaps, would you say that 1992 was the best year in WWF history for the quality of wrestlers they made champ that year? You had Flair, Savage, and Hart (Abeyance too at the beginning of January) that represented the WWF title in that year. Or do you think the PR shift away from musclebound, obvious steroids users forced their hand at that?

Oh, for sure. They would have had Sid as World champion forever in 1992 if they weren’t forced into changing direction. He was so clearly the guy they wanted for the spot and it must have killed Vince when he left.
