Is the fact that most of the talent coming up from NXT are former independent workers/Japan signings a sign that the Performance Center isn’t working? Meltzer was talking about a new guy in NJPW who in his 2nd match looks way ahead of guys that have been in the WWE system for years. Who was the last homegrown talent to takeoff besides Reigns?

I’d count Cena, Batista and Lesnar as homegrown. But yeah, the Performance Center isn’t exactly filling the role it was intended for to date. Amazing how Paul Heyman and Jim Cornette working with a small group of guys who work every night was SO much more effective.
