Its kind of funny to see how delusional batista is in this interview. It wasnt that the fans didnt want him to be a face for why he was booed. The fans simply wanted Bryan in that position so he got booed as a result. Also he clearly has a grudge against Bryan whether he admits it or not. Everytime he answers fan questions on twitter about it, he makes sure to say "your hero Daniel Bryan". Also he turned down a title match against Bryan at Extreme Rules to do the evolution thing.

I don’t feel like there’s any legit beef from Big Dave. The Bootista character was a masterful troll job only topped by our resident Trump fan and I think Dave just likes to tweak people.
