WCW’s Dino Bravo
By Scott Keith on January 20, 2017
Somebody in the World Champions the world missed out on topic commented that, "Brad Armstrong is the Dino Bravo of WCW: Boring in the ring, generic look, minimal personality, bad on the mic, and continuously featured on tv for years for no real reason."
That’s obviously blasphemy, but it does bring up a good question. Who was the "Dino Bravo" of JCP/NWA/WCW?
Off the top of my head, the most obvious candidates would be Mike Rotunda, Jimmy Garvin or Michael Hayes, especially if we consider 1987 – 1991 the "Bravo" years. If we look beyond that timeframe, maybe 1998 – 2001 Lex Luger.
Any thoughts?
Yeah, Donald Trump and his supporters can kiss my ass!
(Runs around ringside high-fiving people like Mick Foley in 98)
Oh wait, we’re back to noncrazy emails again, sorry.
Rotunda would be my closest pick, especially post-Varsity Club. Once he became Captain Mike he turned into the human chinlock and a total heat sink. Or perhaps Bravo’s fellow Quebecois Ron Garvin?
