The Koko Rule

By Scott Keith on December 27, 2016

Hey Scott–

As we look forward to a new year (well, somewhat forward; the looming age of the Tangerine Fascist and his Cavalcade of Unqualified Idiots is particularly frightening in my neck of the woods) talk will inevitably turn to the WWE Hall of Fame inductees. My mind was on the unofficial "Koko B. Ware Rule" for getting in, and I thought about how expansive the range of current HoFers is. Think about it:

We have the ultimate example of someone who Vince feels betrayed him above all others inducted (Macho.)

We have the ultimate example of someone who swore he would never be involved with Vince again inducted (Bruno.)

And we have Koko, inducted into the HoF despite spending a career one step above "Iron" Mike Sharpe.

So given there are clearly no rules, can you think of anyone who you would consider absolutely NOT hall of fame material at this point (Koko level or higher)?

No points for obvious people like Benoit, with murder on their resume (though Jimmy Snuka is in, so you never know!)

Also no points for Kevin Owens: Even the simplest mark can see he’s too fat to be in the HoF.

I’m gonna say Jeff Jarrett is the one with the most heat left for a variety of reasons, or maybe Vince Russo. I can see either one MAYBE going in, but probably not until a whole BUNCH of other people went in.
