Hogan in Summer 91

Despite steroid scandal and an apparent injury, Vince let hogan carry the belt till November. You have Sid right there! He’s a 7’0 monster, so I doubt steroids were an issue. You could:
A) have Hogan drop the belt back to Slaughter by shenanigans and have Sarge get squashed by Sid, ala backlund/diesel.
B) have Sid turn and squash Hulk and feud with Taker/Warrior until Hogan comes back for the Mania feud.

Why did Vince leave the belt on for 5 months
During all the craziness?

Sid was too much of a flake and better or worse, Hogan was the guy who drew the money. Really there was no better choice, even with the steroid stuff going on.
