Kicking Out of Finishers

Hey Scott. As always, thanks for your insight.

When did kicking out of finishers become the norm? I know back in the day guys were protective over their finish, but can AJ Styles just assume he can kick out of Cena’s finish, or does he need permission first?

With today’s product are you fine with this or would you like to revisit the days to when I guy hit a finish and that was pretty much "all she wrote?"

​I’m OK with it as a big match thing, but it’s become REALLY overdone. It’s like Dolph Ziggler’s fameasser, where it’s supposed to be a "finisher" but he never beats anyone with it. I much prefer the days of "all she wrote", but I understand it’s part of the style now. ​
