Titles

Hey Scott,

So we’re at a point now where what’s done is done and we have two world titles, two women’s titles, and two sets of tag titles. My question is, do you think it would be beneficial across the board to unify the United States title into the Universal title and Intercontinental into the World title?

There’s too many titles so this would eliminate two. The tag divisions on both show are weak… getting rid of the midcard titles would help that situation. Anyone that would be in the midcard title picture could form tag teams to really put together two fantastic divisions. The tag team divisions would then basically be your midcard. Then when you have a breakout star from tag teams, break them up and rocket that guy into the world title picture.

And right now they’re at a point where on both shows this would be a big deal right now. Reigns and KO can unify them to find out who really is "The Guy". Over on Smackdown you can have D-Bry tell Miz to put his money where his mouth is and put his title on the line to unify it with AJ’s title.

They have many problems, and too many titles is actually far down the list of them. Plus we’ve already had a unification match a couple of years ago and it didn’t do squat for business.

However, I like your line of thinking about the titties. You should pursue that one.​
