Greatest One Night Performance?

By Scott Keith on September 16, 2016

With two great ****+ matches at the Cruiserweight Classic finals does TJ Perkins go down as having the one of the greatest one night performances on a major WWE show as far as having multiple great matches on one show? Daniel Bryan at Mania 30 had better higher stakes matches on a bigger show. Bret at KOTR 93 also comes to mind as being close. But I can’t think of any others in Perkins’ ballpark.

I think that the Ibushi match was mostly Ibushi as far as making it a GREAT match. Perkins certainly held his own, but let’s not go crazy here. Daniel Bryan single-handedly saved the biggest show of the year by opening AND closing with **** matches and turned himself into the one of the biggest stars of his era in the process. I don’t think there’s much comparison, honestly.
