Cheap Plug – The Fightbox Podcast

Hi Scott,

I wanted to do my part to plug a great podcast that I think the Blog would really enjoy, The Fightbox Podcast. The podcast encompasses the entire combat sports gamut including MMA, Kick Boxing, Sumo, Muay Thai, and of course Pro Wrestling. The host is my friend Don Roid, a former wrestler, promoter, and a current broadcaster. Roid brings a great wealth of knowledge and perspective to the podcast. Pro wrestlers are frequently interviewed on the podcast, which drops every Wednesday. This week was a tremendous podcast with noted independent wrestler "Big League" John McChesney. McChesney discusses breaking into the business, working with CM Punk, Lo Ki, Umaga, Tracey Smothers, Jeff Jarrett, Kevin Nash, and others. Next week Don interviews Bruiser Brody’s widow Barbara Goodish in what should be a must listen. There is a great back catalog of over 80 episodes featuring athletes from all disciplines of combat. If you’re tired of Steve Austin’s same old stories or Jim Ross telling Danny Hodge stories, do yourself a favor and check out the Fightbox Podcast, available in all the usual places.
