Keepin’ it Real: Behind the Scenes with Actual Pro Wrestling Referees

Been a big fan of yours since about ’99. I was a regular Rantsylvania reader, and you even inspired 14-year-old me to write some very derivative, extremely bad reviews of my own. I basically fully dropped out of wrestling for a decade, but randomly googling you and coming across the blog has me reading your Observer recaps every day and even got me nostalgic enough to order the Network (you should get a kick-back).

Anyway, I wrote a piece for The Awl called "Keepin’ it Real: Behind the Scenes with Actual Pro Wrestling Referees." I interviewed Brian Hebner and a few independent referees for the piece and it was a lot of fun and I’m happy with how it came out. I’d love it if you could give it a plug on the blog – hopefully it’d be a fun read for your followers.
