Apologies if you’re not a toy person, but HASBRO.

I was already in university by the time the Hasbro figures became the dominant wrestling action figure collectable, because I’m old as fuck.  The LJN figures were my jam.  I started up a little bit again during the Attitude era with the goofy WCW figures and such, but mostly when I’m collecting now it’s UFC, Simpsons or hockey figures.  In fact I discovered a bunch of super-rare Simpsons sets new in the package that have been sitting my basement for years and worth some pretty impressive cheddar.  Until my daughter ripped open my “Island of Dr. Hibbert” set and started PLAYING with it, like some kind of MONSTER.  Kids these days.
