CWC

By Scott Keith on August 4, 2016

You still watching the CWC? I’ve enjoyed it mostly, but find the kicking out of unbelievably innovative moves annoying. You see really cool stuff, and it ends up not meaning anything in the context of the match. God help me for saying this, but it’s like some of these guys could use work… telling stories.

Also, obviously, they can’t all be winners. Last night’s Noam Dar VS Gurv Sihra match, for instance, was really not good.

How have you been enjoying it so far?

I really enjoyed last night’s show. As I said in the thread about the show, I tried live-tweeting some stuff as I watched it, and it was pretty fun. Plus King of Retweets Mauro Ranallo of course retweeted me, which was awesome. Daniel Bryan and his run about how he’s in love with Jack Gallagher was spectacular, and completely not the kind of thing you’d hear on RAW’s commentary team. I’m thinking someone should send footage of Gallagher to Conan O’Brien’s team, because the material would write itself. I’m fully Team Gentleman at the moment, and Aichner was also great. The powerbomb lungblower from Ciampa was pants-crappingly great amd probably should have been the finish, although it was amusing to hear Bryan talking about how he was a singles champion for a long period of time but couldn’t say which title he held. I was glad to see Kendrick back and motivated again last week, too. I know not many people are watching it, but it’s a really fun and entertaining show and made me want to watch more of guys like Rich Swann and Tozawa as they proceed.
