Lesnar and The Shield
By Scott Keith on July 14, 2016
Lesnar has a storyline gripe with all three Shield guys:
A) Ambrose from Wrestlemania, a guy he easily defeated is now WWE Champion
B) Reigns from Wrestlemania 31
C) Rollins from screwing him out of the title.
Now he’s done and WON his UFC fight and logically Heyman should be campaigning for his guy to get back the title he never lost, and frankly with a second title coming back, isn’t him steamrolling the champ, and holding it till Mania before losing it to _____ (chosen push getter… Sigh… Roman) the thing that’s best for business. Especially with the main steam press Brock is getting now
Probably, yes, BUT…there is no new guy. For that to pay off, you need someone new as your top star for Brock to give the rub, and there’s just no one unless they’re gonna roll the dice on someone like Kevin Owens. Roman is a waste, Ambrose is never going to be seen at that level, Cena and Styles are both too old, and everyone else is mired in midcard hell right now working battle royales to get a title shot at the Miz. Not only would you need to put the belt on Brock, you’d have to heat up someone in the Cesaro/Owens/Zayn/Rusev quagmire of losers to the point where they could win the Rumble and conceivably challenge for the big belt. That’s a tall order right now.
