Hey Scott,

I was looking back at the original draft in 2002 seen here:

And found a few surprising choices the WWE went with but none more crazy than Jericho picked 25th to Smackdown right after Tajiri and Steven Richards. I remember his title reign didn’t go over great but how did he slide that far down.

​There was probably some kind of storyline reason behind it, but I don’t remember what it would be. Everything past the first 10 picks or so was basically just done at random anyway, as far as I understand. ​
