WWE today is among the tops for keeping guys healthy, actually. It’s just that any injury has to be reported and cleared, so guys can’t work hurt while hepped up on goofballs like they would traditionally do. 80s WWF was also very good because it was such a low impact style. The worst over the long term was Russo’s WWF and WCW run in 99, where he’d book guys in insane matches on PPV and then come right back with the same hurt guys on RAW or Nitro. It led to the end of Bret’s career and did a lot of damage to the necks and heads of people who had to retire young because he didn’t understand wrestling.
