So Vince spends a month telling Shane he will never run Raw, and puts him in a Hell in a Cell match with Undertaker hoping he is destroyed.

And he promptly was, Vince gets his wish right?

Except no, one night later he hands control of Raw to Shane. Now I know WWE has a history of schizophrenic booking but this is just bizarre. Any idea what gives? I can’t believe this was the plan all along. If they wanted Shane running things why not book him in another way at Mania? Or was he meant to be done at Mania but decided to stick around?

​And don’t forget that Undertaker basically decided to retire after winning the match where he had to retire if he lost. On the last couple of radio shows, Meltzer has basically said there’s SOMETHING going on, but he doesn’t know what it is. It sure does seem like the original finish of the match was changed, though. ​
