“Woman”?

Your WON recap triggered something I’ve always wondered: Who are the ad wizards who came up with “Woman”? I suppose “Human” would have been more generic, but that’s some, “‘Poochie’ OK with everybody?”-level creativity there.

I never caught the product at the time, so what was the deal with that character?

The idea was that it was supposed to be a comment on feminism, where innocent "Robin Green" feels like she’s being overshadowed by boyfriend Rick Steiner and decides to turn heel on him, thus becoming a representation of "Woman" in general or something. It’s very Kevin Sullivan. ​
