Yeah, Dave was out to lunch on that one. I know he hated Warrior, but I was losing my mind watching that angle at the time. Even then I knew who Tenta was from All Star Wrestling, but it was totally plausible that they’d bring the guy on as a plant without plans to use him in an angle, because he didn’t look like a WWF guy.
