Nxt Call-Ups

Hey Scott,
Isn’t calling up Crews, Corbin, Enzo/Cass and vaudevillians all in the same week a bit much? Probably 1-2 of them will get lost in the shuffle within a month.
Wouldn’t it be better to have vignettes for a guy like Crews so we can at least understand the character more and then bring him up in May or June?

​I’ve given up trying to understand the thought process behind the NXT callups at this point. They bring up Enzo & Cass without Carmella, let Crews flounder all the way to the bottom of NXT and then suddenly bring him up and push him, and wait until the Vaudevilains are ice cold and suddenly promote them. Baron Corbin is going to be death on the main roster in a couple of weeks because the whole thing that was getting him over was "I’m an NXT original and I hate indy geeks taking it over" and now he’s just a tall guy with bad hair. His whole deal was hitting the cool finish and they put him in a battle royale and then do a double countout in his debut match on RAW. I think Aiden English’s singing heel gimmick might have had some legs, but the VV thing is death at this point and they’ll be Mizdow’d within the month. I think maybe Vince sees another Bobby Lashley in Crews, I dunno? Clearly he doesn’t watch much of his own product, at any rate, given how he was directing the announcers to bury Enzo & Cass in their debut.​
