Shane v Taker finish

Hi Scott,


Couple of WM-related questions:

1) I’ve seen a few theories for the finish to the Shane v Taker match. One of them is that Taker will beat Shane up for 15 mins, then lie down and let Shane pin him, the reason being that Taker can stick it to Vince. Shane could then rehire Taker afterwards as he would have control of Raw. Wouldn’t any finish along these lines (where Taker lies down) be booed out of the building, regardless of if Taker gives Shane a 15 min beating, or if it means (at least in story terms) no more Authority? To me, it seems hard to think of any finish where the audience goes home happy, so what would you do (aside from not book the match in the first place)?

2) Isn’t this a colossal waste of Undertaker, and couldn’t any hired gun have been used and elevated in his position (e.g. Owens, Ryback, etc) and then pair Taker off with someone else? Regardless of the result of the match itself, wouldn’t Ryback (as an example) being handpicked by Vince and involved in the story elevate him more than a 5 minute match with Kalisto?

​Ugh, I’m just so bored of this "feud" that I can’t even get up the bile to trash it anymore. It’s a stupid idea borne out of desperation and the storyline doesn’t make any sense and there’s no payoff that will actually make people happy. ​
