As a fan at the time who saw how over the SST were in World Class, they seemed to fade pretty quickly into the middle of the pack of teams once jumping to WCW.

Were they ever promised a huge push when agreeing to come in?

​They got some pretty good heat with Paul E and beating up the Road Warriors like they did, but I don’t think anyone was expecting them to be tag champs or anything. It’s one thing to get over as big stars in World Class for 200 people a night, but at that point in their career I don’t think they were ready for national fame anyway. ​
