The Friday Night Thread is Streets Ahead!

It is Friday night, February 5. It was 28 years ago tonight that the WWF aired The Main Event, a prime time special featuring the biggest rematch in history – Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant for the WWF Title. “How much did he pay for the plastic surgery, man?!” came into the collective wrestling lexicon at this event. It was the most-watched wrestling match in the United States of all time. And it absolutely crushed a young Extant.
