NXT in the Rumble

Two part question Scott:


1) Do you think we’ll see any NXT regulars in the Royal Rumble, and if so, who?

2) How embarrassing would it be to WWE if the NXT entrant(s) get a bigger pop than the main roster?

I hope that I’m wrong, but I don’t think we’ll see any of the new signees or the NXT guys for the same reason that we won’t see Daniel Bryan. Pretty messed up that they won’t put on the most entertaining thing possible just because they don’t want us to cheer for people that they don’t want us to cheer for. Thanks Vince.

​I don’t think so. The only one they’ve ever debuted that way was Rusev. Normally it’s the post-WM show that has the big debuts anyway. That being said, I don’t think that they’d get huge pops just because the show is in Orlando, given the small size of the NXT crowds at Full Sail.

But yeah, it’s a pretty messed up philosophy anyway.​
