TNA Style

Hey Scott,

So TNA just issued a statement about AJ Styles explaining that they had a signed agreement with him, as well as Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. In the statement they said they had dates, storylines, and merchandise all determined and lined up for them. Then a few weeks after the deal was made they ended communication and later were told by his lawyer that they were backing out of the deal.

Why would they release this information, to explain to the few fans they have left that they did everything they could to bring him back or is this just some strange way to throw him and the Bullet Club under the bus before they debut?

Much like everything else TNA does this has me scratching my head.

Why would they even want AJ back again?  They had him for 10 years and didn’t know what to do with him most of that time anyway!  Maybe they’re trying to throw shade at WWE for contract tampering like with Flair, but that would be a stretch at best. 

Hopefully WWE pushes the shit out of AJ out of spite.
