Stampede pulled from Network

By Scott Keith on December 8, 2015

I think it’s interesting that Stampede got pulled for rights issues with Bret, not because Bret was wrong to call them on it, but because it shows that Bret has basically invested in HIMSELF as a commodity. Since he owns all the rights to his Stampede footage, he can put out his own DVDs if desired and make money off his own image. So why don’t more guys from that generation do that, I wonder? These days WWE has everything locked up, but Steve Austin probably could have bought his World Class footage for cheap. Or Flair could have invested in some of the various territorial stuff floating around. It’s just interesting that no one else had the foresight to do that other than Bret.
