Good question, especially since the company made its biggest profits in history while he was storyboarding.
He left because he was forced out by Stephanie when she was being groomed for head of creative, and then sadly he got cancer and died. I bet TNA could have got him for a reasonable price and made Impact a lot more watchable during the bad years.
