That the Network subs went way up / viewership during SummerSlam was through the roof during their match and they decided that they needed to get back on that horse while the iron was hot(Network mystery number hot, not ratings hot)??

Internally, wouldn’t they want to care about Network #s way more than they used to care about weekly ratings? Didn’t they lock into a long contract with USA anyhow?

Bonus: who is Cena going to feud with now? My vote is the RED ARROW THE MAN THAT GRAVITY FORGOT MAGGLE

​We actually don’t know how long the USA deal was for, as they never actually announced the details of the contract. ​But when ratings drop to 1997 levels of awful again, Vince is gonna be getting pressure to do something about it.

As for the Network numbers, it’s been shown thus far that you can only juice a B-show number so far, even with Brock. A big main event or free month gimmick can make a major difference on one of the big shows (Rumble / WM / Summerslam / Survivor Series), but a show like HIAC is only do about what it’s going to, plus or minus 10% or so. It’s just a really weird choice of show to bring back Undertaker already.
