Back in Survivor Series 99, when Austin was run down at the PPV, were there any refund calls? Seems like it would have angered quite whoever specifically ordered the PPV for him, which was probably a large majority.

​I don’t recall hearing anything about it. They had a storyline to explain his absence with the attempted vehicular manslaughter, and then put the biggest remaining babyface who wasn’t the Rock over at the end of the night, so I don’t think people were particularly angry. It was scummy on their part, no doubt, but certainly not the worst thing they had even done that year. ​
