Raven & SMW

I’ve read reports that Raven pitched the Raven character to Jim Cornette, but was rejected. Do you think the Raven character would have gotten nearly as over as it did in ECW?

If Raven had entered SMW, who were some guys do you think that Raven would have best worked with? Has Cornette ever commented on it?

​Somehow I don’t feel like Raven and Cornette would have particularly compatible lifestyles, and they would probably end up killing each other. ​I think Levy actually pitched the Raven idea to a few people before Heyman gave him a shot with it. But no, I can’t see it getting over in SMW, which was all about dirty southern heels clashing with virtuous babyfaces. He just wouldn’t have fit.
