Casual Recommendations

So I have a friend who’s going to dress as Ultimate Warrior for Halloween since she wanted us to do a bit of a dress up theme, and I’m going to dress as Macho Man. Because of this, she’s been at the beginning of a very casual interest in wrestling, mostly because of my enthusiasm for it. I’ve made her into a bit of a fan of Warrior and Savage, mostly I think because of how colourful their gear was and how outlandish their characters were (the insane, yelling promos and the like). I was wondering if you had any other suggestions of some wacky, over the top wrestlers I could show her to perhaps help make her interest in wrestling grow, since she seems to want to share in wrestling with my wife and I. Any suggestions? I have some ideas, but I thought it would be good to ask for your opinion.

​I dunno, I’ve always found that people either get it or they don’t. It’s a soap opera, and the best way to get someone into it is to just start watching the show and make them want to see what happens next.

Or you could show them Chikara, I guess, like the army ant stuff or the Egyptian hypnosis bit that was all over YouTube for a while. ​
