Sting and RAW ratings

Last week you criticized Sting for the 8-24 RAW ratings falling by saying "Sting is basically damaged goods and did nothing to move the needle on Monday".


Pretty unfair criticism since Sting wasn’t hyped for the show. But this week when Sting was promoted to be kicking off the show the show did its best ratings in more than two months.

Do you take back what you said about Sting being damaged goods and blaming him for the 8-24 RAW rating?

​As I noted in the thread last week, my assumption was that they had done something to hype his appearance up, since I pay zero attention to the current product and didn’t know. So yes, apologies to Sting the ratings juggernaut, who boosted the rating from all-time low to all-time low + 170000 viewers. I’m sure a new boom period is imminent where they will bring out a parade of legends in segment after segment where they fight over who loves HHH the most. ​
