Bully Ray in the WWE

With the Dudley Boyz returning, it’s been discussed many times on the blog that nostalgia acts lose steam pretty quick. My question to you is once the nostalgia pops go down is there any chance the WWE allows Bubba Ray to morph into his Bully Ray character? I mean they don’t have to use the same name from TNA cause obviously they wouldn’t want to do that. But how about at least the character and using a similar name possibly? I mean Bully Ray was easily one of, if not the best character in TNA for a few years. I think his Bully Ray character would translate great on WWE RAW. His promos with guys like Cena and even Kevin Owens would be fantastic. And maybe at one point he can cut a promo on Triple H and Stephanie(bwahahahahaha……beat you to it!) I think his character would be a breath of fresh air and would be just really fun to see in a WWE setting. I remember when you reviewed TNA you always praised him and this character too. Any chance
this happens or would this fall under the usual “WWE doesn’t like using a character that they didn’t create and got over in another company”?

Yeah, I don’t feel like they’d allow the Bully Ray thing to come in. He tried for months to get a job with that character and got turned down flat, plus it’s basically the property of TNA anyway. They’ll do their thing for a month or so and hopefully shift to NXT as trainers.
