I was wondering if you have any memories of Smoky Mountain Wrestling, or if you have watched anything from that company. Currently, I’ve been watching and reviewing the promotions history and I’m up to August of ’93.

Cornette seemed to put all his baskets in the Express/Bodies feud throughout and at the point I’m at, its still top notch.

If you have watched any, what else should I be on the lookout for?

​Oh yeah, I used to watch religiously until they went out of business. Only thing that kept me sane during the Hogan reign of terror in WCW and Diesel’s reign of apathy. Things to watch out for:

– Cactus Jack reading poetry
– Al Snow getting himself over and introducing the world to Glen Jacobs
– A million awesome RNR v. Bodies matches as you noted.
– Jericho & Storm being all awesome and Jericho bleeding all over the ring at Night of Legends
– The Gangstas nearly inciting a riot on multiple occasions before wisely leaving for ECW

You should still be able to pick up the Night of Legends DVD and it’s well worth watching. I had thought that someone was selling DVD sets at one point, but WWE owns all the footage now, even though they’re not doing anything with it. ​
