Thinking back to the D-X Norfolk Nitro invasion: suppose rather than merely ignoring them, Bischoff had told security to let Hunter and co. come on in, readied his own cameras, waved them into the arena, then sicced a dozen or so of his best shooters/toughest s.o.b.s on them and had them legitimately mop the floor with D-X in plain view of both audiences. How bad a hit does WWF’s credibility take if something like that goes down? (Keeping in mind that the aforementioned shooters would likely consist of career midcarders…assuming Meng allowed anyone else to tag along!) How might Vince have scrambled to dig his company out from under a fiasco of that magnitude? (I suppose real-world legal ramifications might be in order, but for the purposes of this scenario let’s assume "It’s all part of the show, officer" carries the day.)
